Match Rules:
1. One rod or pole can be used at any one time during the match (to be reviewed by committee as required)
2. Matches will start and finish on a signal from an appointed match organiser
3. No break in the water prior to signal except for positioning of rod rest, keep nets, plummeting of rigs and making up of ground bait.
4. Any unattended tackle that is baited whether in the water or not shall result in the angler being disqualified from the competition.
5. No competitor may weigh their own catch but shall be able to witness that the correct weight is recorded.
6. No competitor shall fish within 15 meters length of each other, with the exception of the points were they are facing away from each other (15 meters apart by swim). This also cover the width of the river if applicable.
7. A competitor must cease fishing at the final signal. Should he be playing a fish at the time a 20 minute allowance will be given to land the fish to make part of his catch.
8. Members shall hook, play and land their own fish in competitions with the exception of juniors, OAPs and disabled members if they request assistance.
9. If for any unknown reason you are not able to fish your peg (obstacles in the way). Movement of a metre either way is permitted. See committee member if this is not achievable.
10. No dead fish in the keep net will count toward match weight.
